Historic Renovation with Views over Peneda-Gerês National Park

This project consists of fully renovated villas located in a neighborhood originally built by EDP in the 1950s for its workers during the construction of the Salamonde Dam. The condo currently includes four residences, three of which are already completed, each featuring a pool supplied with dam water, ideally suited for nature tourism and leisure stays immersed in the surrounding landscape.

The development is situated by the Cávado River, offering excellent sun exposure and breathtaking panoramic views of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The condo occupies a total area of 62,224 m², providing privacy, integration with nature, and exceptional recreational experiences.

The renovations were completed in 2024, combining contemporary design, high comfort, and direct engagement with nature, while preserving the historical character of the site. This makes it a unique opportunity for sustainable tourism in one of Portugal’s most stunning natural settings.
